My name is Lotti. In honor of avoiding spoilers, I’m not going to tell you my secret. Well, at least not yet.

But what I will tell you is that I started practicing rhythmic gymnastics, a sport that requires a snake-like level of flexibility. Sounds awesome right? If only I didn’t have this secret . . .  Seriously, as if middle school wasn’t trouble enough already.

Confronted with ridicule, obstacles, and setbacks, I learned, there are just two options at each crossroad: surrender or keep on fighting. And it is up to us which path we take.
